چکیده

This study analyzed the genetic diversity in Coffea canephora genotypes by univariate and multivariate statistical analysis, based on concentrations of macro- micronutrients coffee leaves stages pre-flowering grain filling. The experiment was arranged randomized blocks with three replications, a 42x2 factorial design, which factor one represented evaluated two periods leaf sampling, i.e., data nutrient were subjected to analysis variance F test (p <0.01), parameters estimated. For diversity, grouped hierarchical unweighted pair-group method using arithmetic averages (UPGMA). relative importance trait predict also studied. There is divergence for concentration C. genotypes. With maximum limit 60% dissimilarity between genotypes, four groups formed UPGMA. 42 S most important diversity; this genotypic variability should be investigated enhance efficiency nutritional diagnosis.

Genetic diversity of standard leaf nutrients in Coffea canephora genotypes during phenological phases.

Diagnosing foliar nutritional status is essential for fertilizer recommendations and for the identification of nutrient imbalances. This study aimed to verify genetic diversity and establish mean standards (leaf nutrient contents; LNCs) and relationships among leaf nutrients (LNC relationships; LNCRs) in seven conilon coffee genotypes during both pre-flowering and bean-filling stages. Twenty cr...

SNPs Based Molecular Diversity of Coffea canephora

Coffee offers one of the most widely drunk beverages in the world, and is a very important source of foreign currency income for many countries. Coffea canephora Pierre presents a great genetic variability, with one of the widest natural geographical distribution within the subgenus. Newly developed single nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) markers are effective in genetic diversity detection. The o...

Allometric model for estimating leaf area in clonal varieties of coffee (Coffea canephora)1 Modelo alométrico para estimativa da área foliar de variedades clonais de café (Coffea canephora)

The evaluation of leaf area is required in several agronomic studies given their importance to assess the plant growth. The objective of this study was to use statistical models to estimate leaf area of five clonal varieties of coffee (Coffea canephora) from linear dimensions (length and width maximum). Were used in the studies five varieties of Coffea canephora Pierre ex Froehner: Emcapa 8111,...

Evidence of genetic tolerance to low availability of phosphorus in the soil among genotypes of Coffea canephora.

The expansion of agriculture to new areas in order to increase the competitiveness of coffee producing countries has resulted in cultivation expanding into regions with lower natural fertility. This scenario has created the need to differentiate genotypes of Conilon coffee based on their tolerance to low levels of nutrients in the soil, especially phosphorus, which imposes high limitations on c...

Differentially expressed genes and proteins upon drought acclimation in tolerant and sensitive genotypes of Coffea canephora

The aim of this study was to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying drought acclimation in coffee plants by the identification of candidate genes (CGs) using different approaches. The first approach used the data generated during the Brazilian Coffee expressed sequence tag (EST) project to select 13 CGs by an in silico analysis (electronic northern). The second approach was based on sc...
